 What do health coaches do?

 

 

 

Health coaches specialize in behavior change.  They support their clients in finding their own strategies and motivation for change, overcoming obstacles and implementing protocols that have been prescribed by a clinician or nutritionist/dietician or that the client has chosen to implement on their own.

 

Health coaches empower others to make the choice of health, including healthier behaviors, for themselves.   In addition, a  functional health coach uses their broad knowledge of health and wellness to help people navigate a variety of health concerns.

 

How can you benefit from a health coach?


Making changes can be hard!  So many of our behaviors are deeply rooted and complex.  Knowing you need to make a change is far easier than actually making the change, especially with all the demands of our busy life styles.  This is where a health coach comes in.  A health coach can help you prioritize what is most important, help you to make a clear plan, and provide support and accountability.
